Illinois Tourism wanted to attract young adults to see the state. We thought this swipe-right crowd would enjoy video stories about them—mini reality tv “road trip” dramas set in the 58-thousand-square-miles of kitsch, cool, and naturally beautiful Land of Lincoln.

We introduced two complete strangers for the first time to go on a blind date road trip through Illinois. The campaign was rooted in creating content that teased our audience to want to learn more about quick fun road trips in Illinois for the millennial. The content drove our target to a landing page on enjoyillinois.com that gives trip ideas and a broader understanding of the state.

Over a weekend in May, we followed these two on their adventure.
The question was always amongst the crew and team, Will they get along? Will they fall in love?

As of now, Brittany and Sam are talking every day.
And they plan to visit each other in the near future.
